Shift pay should count when it is real

Your T4 is larger than base salary. The mortgage should not treat that overtime as a one-off if it was not.

How overtime is counted

Edmonton Fire Rescue, EMS, EPS, AHS, and related rotations often put 20 to 40 percent of pay in overtime, premiums, and special duty. Some lenders average two years. Some haircut overtime. A few will use a more complete picture when the history is clean. Jason matches lenders who already understand that pay.

Weekday-only appointments do not fit a platoon

Call 780-721-4879 or text 780-720-2490 when the rotation allows. The office is 10525 170 Street NW Unit 107, Edmonton, AB T5P 4W2. Phone and video cover the rest of the week.

What to send

T4s, recent pay stubs, and an employment letter that names overtime. If this is also a first purchase, read first-time buyers. The product page is first responder mortgages. If you are at CFB Edmonton, say so on the first call so he does not run a civilian-only income story.

Housing that fits a rotation

A west-end or north-side house near a station is common. So is a first condo while overtime is still building. Size the payment to base plus the overtime a lender will actually count. A platoon schedule is not a reason to skip the stress test. Call 780-721-4879 when the rotation allows.

Common questions

Will you use all of my overtime?

Only the portion a lender will accept, usually from a two-year average unless the history says otherwise.

I am at CFB Edmonton. Same page?

Military pay has its own letters and posting timeline. Say so on the first call.

Can we meet in the evening?

Yes. Phone and video cover most of it. Sit down on 170 Street when a shift lines up.

Does a side job count?

Sometimes, if it is documented. Do not hide it. A second T4 can help or it can confuse the story if it is new.
